Power Consumption

Today show business installations need large quantities of electric current supplied by the network or by generators which seriously pollute the environment.

Moreover, the setups which are currently in use ,are equipped with amplifiers with alternated high power and incandescence and discharge lamps which consume a lot of electricity. Every traditional light bulb consumes an average of 250 to 2000 watts for the number of pieces to install which often exceeds 50.

Consequently the electricity consumption is very high. The new LED light bulbs are ten times as efficient as traditional ones and also work with continuous electricity with the effect of producing the same light with one tenth of the consumption and a substantial reduction of the heat emitted .

As far as the audio installations are concerned we use digital amplifiers of the latest generation. They guarantee both quality and continuity with low consumption and zero emissions through the rational use of electricity on the stage even for an audience of thousands of people. Our goal is to eliminate the losses due to the conversions from continuous to alternated current or vice versa and aim at working as much as possible with continuous current, directly with the energy produced by the panels without any further conversions and with greater safety thanks to the low voltage .

The result is that the overall power consumption required for a concert of average size is around 100kWh, which can be reduced to 30kWh if the concert is put on using the “Ecoluce” system. By using the “Ecoluce” system we are able to avoid the CO2 emissions equal to about 500kg that result from an event which uses traditional systems supplied by a generator.
